Who we are

Royale Photography is a Melbourne-based photography business serving Melbourne and Victoria. This policy explains what personal information we collect, why we collect it, and how it is handled, consistent with the Australian Privacy Principles.

What we collect

When you enquire through our contact form we collect the details you provide: your name, email address, phone number if given, enquiry type, event date or timeframe, locations and any message or attachments you include. Enquiries are delivered to us by email and are not sold or shared for marketing.

Analytics and cookies

We use Google Analytics, Microsoft Clarity and the Meta Pixel to understand how the website is used and to measure enquiries. These tools may set cookies and collect usage information such as pages visited, device type and referral source. We also keep basic enquiry context (such as the page you arrived on) in your browser's session storage to help us respond to your enquiry accurately. You can limit cookies through your browser settings.

Photographs of you and your family

Photography clients own the personal use of their delivered galleries. Public use of your images in our portfolio or on social media is permission-led: for christenings, cultural events and family sessions, images of children and family guests are only shared publicly with your agreement. You can ask for images to be kept private at any time before publication.

Storage and third parties

Enquiry emails are processed through our website host (Cloudflare) and email delivery provider (Resend). Delivered galleries are stored with reputable hosting providers. We take reasonable steps to protect your information and only share it where required to deliver our services or by law.

Access, correction and contact

You can request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information by contacting us at [email protected] or 0485 688 739. If you have a privacy concern, contact us first and we will respond promptly. You may also contact the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (oaic.gov.au).
